Japanese Woodblock,
The British Museum

Exhibition graphic design for the Japanese woodblock exhibition in Room 3 at The British Museum.

The focus of the display was a full-colour triptych by Kunisada, which illustrates the skill needed to create a traditional woodblock print.

The design itself referenced print hanging methods. The panel titles were incised paper, helping to highlight the technique physically.

In collaboration with 3D Designer, Aaron Jones.
